History of Inkubház

The building that now houses Inkubház was built in 1905 and originally served as a district court. Its appearance and construction reflect the style of public buildings from that period, and it remains one of the representative buildings of Miercurea Nirajului.

Over time, the building served several public functions. It first operated as a court and later as an orphanage, adapting to historical and social changes. Although its role has changed over the years, the building has always remained connected to the life of the local community.

Preservation and Renewal

The building is protected as a historical monument not only for its architectural value, but also for its role in the life of the local community over many generations. Over time, its condition deteriorated, and a full renovation became necessary.

The goal was to preserve the building’s original character while adapting it to today’s needs. During the renovation, care was taken to restore its key architectural elements and combine them with modern solutions.

A New Role: Inkubház

After the renovation, the building now functions as a business incubator. It continues to serve the community by supporting local businesses, collaboration, and new ideas.

Today, Inkubház is a space where new businesses can grow. The story of the building continues, as it remains an active part of the community in Miercurea Nirajului.
